McLean County Health Department announces new administrator

MCLEAN COUNTY (WEEK) – The McLean County Health Department has
a new administrator.

County Board of Health President Judy Buchanan announced that
Jessica McKnight will serve as the next administrator.

She fills the role vacated by Camille Rodriguez, who became
the McLean County Administrator in June, according to a press release.

McKnight is currently the director of the St. Francois County
Health Department in Farmington, Missouri. She works closely with that county’s
board of health while also serving as public information officer. Her roles
also include the Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation, where she managed
human resource functions and the facility’s building and electronic health
records system.

McKnight holds a Master of Public Administration from
Southern Illinois University.  She
officially begins her new role with the McLean County Health Department on
January 27, 2020.

She will earn $92, 461.78 per year, according to the
release.
