Technology is About More than Technology

One of the questions I get asked most often has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of fintechs: Why are you called WatersTechnology when y’all don’t write about anything having to do with technology that purifies water?

Well, WatersTechnology—which for more than two decades was simply known as Waters magazine—was founded in 1993 by Dennis Waters and edited by David Rivers. As Dennis would later say, “Rivers and Waters—the serendipity of the liquid connection was a never-ending source of
