A massive sea and air search is underway off the Waterford coast for a man reported missing earlier this morning.
A man is his mid-50’s has been missing from Stradbally since earlier today and a search was launched before midday.
The Waterford Rescue Helicopter 117, as well as the lifeboats from both Tramore and Bonmahon are involved in the search, which is centred on a specific stretch of coast close to Stradbally at Ballyvoyle Head.
Rescue divers have been searching the area, while gardai have been undertaking land searches in that vicinity.
The search is ongoing.
