Potentially record breaking cold – WPTA

Potentially record breaking cold - WPTA

Today will be cold and potentially record breaking with highs expected to remain in the mid 20s, short of our record breaking coldest high temperature of 28. During the day, it will remain cloudy and breezy with a stray snow shower possible. The breezy weather should begin to calm this evening with clouds departing overnight.

Another record should be broken with temperatures into the single digits across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. Clouds will move in by morning leading to another day with overcast and temperatures in the 20s.

Other than a weak system moving through overnight Wednesday into Thursday, it should remain quiet but well below average.

We’ll have the latest on any snow showers coming up this afternoon and evening
