CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. – Authorities are asking Chester County residents to conserve water after a water main break Monday.

Officials said they are working to restore the 30-inch water main in Fort Lawn just east of U.S. Highway 21.
An estimated time the water main break is expected to be restored has not been released.
Officials said customers may see discolored water once the water main is fixed and are advised to contact the Chester Metropolitan District office at 803-385-5123.
