Lady Gaga’s latest tweet in the wee hours of Sunday has confused as well as pleased the internet as she posted a Sanskrit mantra. “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu,” Lady Gaga wrote in a post as the internet is trying to decipher her tweet.

If you aren’t aware of the meaning of the mantra, we’ll do the honours. Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu is a Sanskrit Mantra to radiate the feeling of love and happiness towards the world.

“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.” This is what Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu translates to.

After being made available online, Lady Gaga’s tweet has gone viral to the power infinity. It has garnered over 50,000 likes and has been retweeted around 11,000 times and counting. While some users appeared confused with her tweet, a section of the internet is delighted as netizens welcomed her to Hinduism.
