A train with hundreds of football fans has caught fire this evening.
Multiple people have been injured in the blaze at Bellevue station in Berlin, Germany.
The special service was taking supporters of SC Freiburg from the far south-west of the country back home after the Bundesliga game with the capital’s FC Union Berlin.
“Smoke seen coming from #Bellevue train station in downtown #Berlin, Germany amid reports of a train on fire. Several injuries reported,” one tweet reads.
A spokesman for the fire service said one carriage has burned “to full extent” and confirmed several hundred supporters are on the train.
Two other commuter trains have been evacuated at the station, which is in the west of the city.
It has caused severe delays to other services.

It is understood the injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
“Shortly after the start of the return journey, a fire developed in one of the wagons,” wrote a spokesman for SC Freiburg’s supporters group, which had organised the trip.
“All passengers have left the train.”
Named after nearby Bellevue Palace, the residence of the President of Germany, the station opened in 1882.
It has been a listed building since 1987.
With two platforms, it serves trains as far as Strausberg in the east and Potsdam in the west.
FC Union Berlin won the match 2-0 at Stadion An der Alten Försterei in the Köpenick area of the city.
It lifts the hosts to 14th in the Bundesliga.
