MADISON, Wis. – UW Health doctors and a 16-year-old boy talked about the teen’s near-death vaping experience Thursday morning.

The teen was the American Family Children’s Hospital’s first patient in the pediatric intensive care unit because of vaping, according to a spokesperson with the hospital.

 

 

A team of UW Health experts shared some problems linked to vaping and tips for parents to recognize vaping in young people.
