2 men wanted in car break-in pattern in Soundview

Police are searching for two men wanted in a robbery spree in Soundview.

They say the pair targets cars by breaking into the passenger side window and taking what they can.

News 12 is told the suspects had gone on a two-day robbery spree starting on Sept. 19. Police say a 38-year-old victim parked his vehicle in front of 1600 Bruckner Blvd. before midnight and when he returned, he found his passenger window smashed.

That victim told police the suspects stole a speaker and purse.

Police say the men struck again on Sept. 20, where they broke into a vehicle on Elder Avenue and Bruckner Expressway.

The owner of the vehicle told police he parked his car around 6 p.m. and when he returned, he found his passenger window shattered, and his flat-screen TV missing.

Police say the men broke into another car on Bronx River Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard later that night and stole an XBox, television and a CB radio.

Investigators are offering an over $2,500 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.
