During the evening hours of September 19th, 2019 a monorail on Walt Disney World Resort property seems to have lost power leaving the Ticket and Transportation Center and heading to Epcot. This incident left as many as 100 people stuck inside according to a tweet, which you can check out below, as well as some images and video.

It seems that passengers have started to be evacuated through the roof.

No injuries have been reported yet (thank goodness!) and it seems Disney’s Reedy Creek Fire Department is on the scene and in charge. Around 10:30 P.M. Orange County Fire Rescue was called to the scene to help assist with evacuations.

It seems the monorail just cannot catch a break lately! We will be following the story as it progresses, so make sure to check back here at WDWNT for more information.
