Astros shortstop hasn’t played since August 19
HOUSTON (SportsRadio 610) – Carlos Correa will return to the lineup Tuesday when the Astros take on the Texas Rangers at Minute Maid Park, Astros manager A.J. Hinch announced.
Hinch said on MLB Network that Correa will bat seventh Tuesday night and play shortstop, allowing Alex Bregman to move back to third base.
Correa hasn’t played since suffering a back injury on a swing in the first inning of the Astros 5-4 win over the Detroit Tigers August 19. He has been limited to just 72 games this season.
