Hollywood game-changers participate in event at San Francisco Chronicle
Actress and disability lifestyle advocate Lolo Spencer, the star of the indie film “Give Me Liberty,” spoke at WrapWomen’s Power Women event in San Francisco last week and was joined on stage with the film’s writer and producer Alice Austen.
In addition to starring as Tracy in “Give Me Liberty,” Spencer also runs the YouTube series “Sitting Pretty” to showcase her life as a woman in a wheelchair. Spencer says her ultimate goal in life is to dispel myths and stereotypes of how disability lifestyle is perceived and experienced.
Austen is an award-winning playwright, screenwriter and producer.
The gathering, which included cocktails, networking and panel discussions, took place at the San Francisco Chronicle.
