Bluffton, Ohio – GROB Systems, Inc. welcomed over 150 customers and suppliers to its first ever technology event,“5-AXIS LIVE!”, on Tuesday, August 20th.

GROB Systems, Inc. welcomed over 150 customers and suppliers to its first ever technology event,“5-AXIS LIVE!”, on Tuesday, August 20th.

Together with 8 select partners, GROB shared new strategies, best practices and machining demonstrations focused on 5-axis applications for aerospace and die/mold industries.

A “Technology Alley” exhibit area showcased partner exhibits from Blum-Novotest, Caron Engineering, CAMplete, hyperMILL, MAPAL, SCHUNK, SECO, and SIEMENS, and was the central hub for networking and catering. Machining demonstrations addressed challenges specific to the difficult materials and high demands of aerospace and die/mold industries.

Keynote speaker Greg Jones, AMT Vice President, Smartforce Development, discussed programs and resources to help companies develop a workforce for the future. Guided tours showed customers how GROB’s manufacturing processes contribute to the high performance and extreme reliability of the G-Series Universal machines.
