NBC, (WILX) – Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said she is doing well after receiving cancer treatment.
The 86-year-old made an appearance at the Library of Congress National Book Festival in Washington Saturday.
The event comes after Ginsburg recently disclosed that she completed three weeks of outpatient radiation therapy for a cancerous tumor on her pancreas.
Ginsburg told the audience at the book festival that she loves her job.
“I just know that I have to read this set of briefs, go over the draft opinion. So I have to somehow surmount whatever is going on in my body and concentrate on the court’s work,” she said.
It’s the fourth time Justice Ginsburg has been treated for cancer.
