Didi Gregorius exits Yankees game with right shoulder injury

Didi Gregorius’ night is already over.

The Yankees shortstop suffered a right shoulder bruise after being hit by a Clayton Kershaw fastball in the first inning of Sunday’s series finale against the Dodgers.

Gregorius was pinch hit for by Mike Ford in the third inning, who moved to first base. Gleyber Torres assumed shortstop and DJ Lemahieu took over second base.

Gregorius will undergo X-Rays at Dodger Stadium, according to MLB.com. The 29-year-old missed the beginning of the season following Tommy John surgery on his right elbow.
