ClaimCompass raises $1.3M to develop its flight compensation technology

ClaimCompass will invest in developing its technology and
growing its services with the help of a fresh investment round of $1.3 million.

This latest funding, a late seed/pre-Series A round, brings the company’s total funding to date to just over $2 million.

ClaimCompass processes compensation claims for travelers
whose flights are delayed, canceled or overbooked.

Since its founding in 2015, the company says it has
processed more than 150,000 claims.

For now, ClaimCompass only processes claims for flights departing out of an airport in the European Union or against airlines that are based there.

In 2017, the company raised a small round from Social
Capital, Hustle Fund and David Houser.

These existing investors are now joined
by Rambleside, Telegraph Hill Ventures, Good News Ventures, Global Edge, Ramen
Ventures and others.
