launches Women’s Health Services

MIDDLETOWN – Orange Regional Medical Group is pleased to offer Gynecology and Women’s Health services at the Orange Regional Medical Group office in Middletown.

Led by Irvelyne Camille, MD, FACOG and Jeannette Green, MD, the Gynecology and Women’s Health services team provides care for women throughout their lives – from puberty through menopause. Services include but are not limited to:

•Well-woman visits and preventive care with annual examinations

•Adolescent and premenstrual health care

•Contraception counseling

•Prenatal care

•Pap smears

•Cervical, ovarian and breast cancer screenings

•STD screenings

•Menopausal healthcare

Fertility evaluation, testing and treatment “The addition of Women’s Health and Drs. Camille and Green to the team further enhances our mission to provide comprehensive clinical care to our community,” said Dr. Gerard Galarneau, President, GHVHS Medical Group.

Nursing mothers to celebrate

National Breastfeeding Month

MIDDLETOWN – August is National Breastfeeding Month and Orange Regional Medical Center invites nursing mothers to the Big Latch On event at 9 a.m., on Aug. 2. The gathering will take place at Orange Regional Medical Center’s Main Campus at 707 East Main Street in Middletown.

The Big Latch On raises awareness of the importance of breastfeeding and includes time to share experiences with fellow breastfeeding mothers, as well as guided learning.

The event will begin with a group walk at 9 a.m., on the Hospital’s fitness trail. Registration for the Big Latch On will take place following the walk at 10 a.m., in the Testa Healing Garden by Orange Regional’s Main Lobby entrance. The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. If there is inclement weather, the walk will be cancelled and the Big Latch On event will take place inside of the Outpatient Building, second floor, in Medical Conference Rooms A, B, & C.
