MARION, IL — A health department in southern Illinois is offering free school supplies, dental exams, eye exams, and more at an event Friday.
The Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department is hosting the event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 26. A news release about the event says families can get backpacks and other back to school items, the dental and eye exams, hair cuts and immunizations — all free. It includes a resource fair as well.
Also free at the event will be face painting, food, games and more, the news release says.
