STACEY Solomon has quit social media for a few days as she enjoys quality time with her family.
The 29-year-old is “saying goodbye to technology” while she jets away for a holiday with new son Rex, boyfriend Joe Swash, and her two sons from a previous relationship Zachary and Leighton.

The former X Factor contestant, who gave birth in May, announced the news on her Instagram account as she shared a picture of her cradling her and Joe’s first child together.
She captioned the Instagram Story: “Saying goodbye to technology for a few days… see you soon.”
Stacey has decided to “switch off” because it is Rex’s first trip away from home and she doesn’t want to miss a second or be distracted by her phone.
She shared a separate photo of the group together, which read: “Road Trip Time for some family time! Spending a few days to cut off from the world and connect with each other.”

She added: “There’s a no devices rule for EVERYONE including mummy so I’m coming off of social media and putting my phone in the cupboard to have a healthy detox for a few days! I can’t wait to spend quality time with Joe and the boys.
“It’s Rex’s first trip away from home so it’s going to be so special I don’t want to miss a second.
“I think it’s so good for our mental health too, to just completely switch off from the world of technology and enjoy the moment, for a few days.
“Whatever you’re doing I hope you have a lovely week and I’ll be back soon P.S a little Instagram Vs Reality in these pics the reality is that we had to stand in front of the boot to keep everything from falling out on to the floor I forgot how much stuff you need to bring on a trip with a newborn.”

Stacey started to document her road trip on social media, and revealed the journey did not get off to the best start as the family were delayed after her kids were distracted by a cat.
In a separate Story on Insta she wrote: “Going on an adventure and we’ve already added 10 minutes to our journey time.
“We saw a cat … this is going to be a long journey.”

The family were stalled once more as they met Joe, who was driving, although he forgot the baby seat.
She added: “Joe took car today so we planned to meet him after work by train. Joe forgot to take the car seat with him so here we are 3 kids 2 backpacks and a car seat on the train .
“We made it to daddy but not before I managed to spill my orange juice all over poor Rex on the train. Note to self Stacey can’t multi task.”
