NORTH HAVEN — Two teens were caught early Sunday morning after breaking into a handful of cars, police said.
A resident reported seeing two men trying to enter an unlocked car in the parking lot of a State Street apartment complex at 4:45 a.m., North Haven police said on Facebook.
Police then caught 18-year-old Diego Garro and his juvenile friend. The pair from New Haven had broken into at least six cars, police said they learned later.
The two were charged with trespassing and six counts of burglary in the third degree, according to police.
