Syrian Air Force resumes airstrikes over Idlib after failed ceasefire

BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:30 A.M.) – Minutes ago, several powerful explosions were reported throughout the southwestern countryside of Damascus.

According to a source in Damascus, a number of missiles were fired from a likely Israeli aircraft that was flying over Lebanon this evening.

The source said that the explosions were reported near the town of Kisweh, which has been targeted by the Israeli Air Force on a number of occasions in the past.

He would add that the Syrian air defenses did manage to intercept a number of the projectiles; however, several still hit their targets, causing a wave of explosions that could be heard from the capital city.

The attack is still ongoing at the moment.
