Homeless men charged in breaking window, climbing into Easton building

A pair of homeless men were arrested after allegedly breaking a window and climbing into a building in Easton.

The incident happened shortly before 9:30 a.m. this past Saturday in the 200 block of Folk Street. City police said officers were called to a report of people moving about inside a vacant building. Officers found George M. Buskirk and Matthew Frances Phillips, both 53, squatting inside, police said.

The building’s owner told police no one had permission to be inside.

Both were charged with defiant trespass and criminal trespass. They are awaiting to be arraigned on the charges.
