COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A deadly crash closed down a busy roadway in Colorado Springs Saturday night.
Just before 9:30 p.m. police confirmed with 11 News southbound Academy was completely shut down just south of E. Fountain Boulevard. The crash was near the intersection of S. Academy and Pace Drive.
The crash involved a car and some type of motorized scooter. Everyone involved stayed on scene, according to police. The person who died has not been publicly identified.
