Derelict building in Powys ‘severely damaged’ by fire
A derelict building in Powys has been “severely damaged” by fire.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident in Hospital Road, Talgarth, at 3.08am.
A spokeswoman confirmed five crews – from Talgarth, Hereford, Crickhowell, Brecon and Llandrindod Wells – attended.
She added: “A single storey building was severely damaged by fire.”
Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets, a thermal imaging camera and hydraulic cutting equipment. They left the scene at 7.45am.
