FITCHBURG — Monty Tech students successfully completed the 2018-2019 session of the Women In Technology program. The students, along with their counterparts from area high schools, were recognized at the program’s Final Projects Presentation, held recently at Monty Tech.

Through the program, high-school girls spend 12 to 14 sessions during the school year working on real-world business, engineering and technology projects under the mentorship of employees at Johnson Controls in Westminster.

This year, students from Monty Tech, Oakmont, Quabbin and Narragansett regional high schools participated in the program, which is in its 17th year.
