Marketing technology specialist agency The Lumery has expanded its operations to Sydney.

The Lumery officially opens its doors in Sydney to meet surge in demand for MarTech and transformational capabilities

Leading MarTech transformational specialists The Lumery, have announced the opening of their brand new offices in Sydney along with a host of strategic hires, to cater for the surge in demand for its specialist capabilities.

Since The Lumery’s inception in Melbourne in 2017, the increase in demand for The Lumery’s specialist services has led to the company achieving 900% year-on-year growth. Sydney-based high- profile brands joining The Lumery to date include P&O Cruises, property group Frasers Property Australia, publishing and media leader NewsCorp and airline giant Qantas.

The Lumery’s co-founder and managing director, Rajan Kumar, said the recent expansion to Sydney’s dynamic new entrepreneurial precinct, The Commons in Chippendale, reflects the
company’s fresh energy and drive to service their increasing client base in the region.

“Organisations are increasingly becoming tired of the noise and confusion in our industry and really struggling the get out of the ‘MarTech Void’,” says Raj. “Our objective has always been to not just provide the front-end consulting guidance, but actually partner with our customers to support and enable them across the entire stack. Our growth has been driven by a need, but more importantly our framework and delivery has been justified based on the success we’ve helped deliver to our customers. The expectation of The Lumery is that we provide our customers with the absolute best talent in our industry to meet the demands of an ever-evolving digital space – our expansion in
Sydney is representative of that.”

Joining the new Sydney office will be Victoria Bergin as senior client director, who is set to enhance the Lumery’s digital transformation capabilities for its growing suite of enterprise clients.

With a portfolio career spanning over 15 years, including digital consumer leads at Publicis and M&C Saatchi, Victoria joins The Lumery after being a Client Engagement Director working inhouse on digital transformation for Qantas. A seasoned digital experience specialist with a strong track record of delivering integrated digital marketing initiatives in brand and acquisition, Victoria has worked with leading brands including Optus, Telstra, GSK, Commbank and Tabcorp.

“I’m so excited to be joining the amazing team at The Lumery,” Victoria says. “A lot of organisations are now looking for a nimble partner to respond to their needs – which is quite simply, how do I leverage data and technology to deliver tangible business results. The Lumery’s agile, lean approach means they can implement initiatives very quickly for clients and deliver revenue and profit within relatively short measurable windows.”

Joining the team earlier this year as senior delivery lead, Bea Zutis, is The Lumery’s new ‘agile gun’ responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of digital platforms and services for clients.

With a deep understanding of both agile and waterfall methodologies, Bea has an expansive portfolio of client success including Carlsberg, Santander, Telstra, Breville, Virgin Atlantic and Qantas. Her experience is critical based on the wide spread services The Lumery offers across the MarTech stack.

“What’s most special about The Lumery’s delivery approach is that we fully tailor our delivery model based on each client needs and after a deep understanding of their business,” Bea says. “The ability to embed ourselves into their data, understanding their customers as well as their day to day business gives us great straight to deliver strong and valuable results.”

“These companies are investing a lot in large technology solutions – from machine learning to marketing automation and personalisation. It’s an exciting place where marketing and technology really intersect. The Lumery comes in to help ‘close the loop’ for enterprise-level clients undergoing digital transformation and set up those parameters where the clients can hit those business goals themselves. For me, this is the next level of where digital marketing is going.”
