KCRA 3 was the recipient of 5 Emmys, including the award for Breaking News. The 48th Annual Northern California Area Emmy Awards presentation was held Saturday, June 8 in San Francisco, honoring outstanding achievement in television.”I am honored that our station received 5 Emmy awards this year, including the Breaking News award for our coverage of the Paradise fire,” said KCRA 3 and My58 President and General Manager Elliott Troshinsky. “I am proud that we were recognized for the hard work of our team, the quality of our news and for our commitment to our community.”In addition to winning the Breaking News award, “KCRA 3 News at 4pm” also received the award for Daytime Newscast while Edie Lambert took home the honor of News Anchor.
