BREAKING: Deputy Shot In Back Of Head At Restaurant, This Is The Suspect's Car

Alhambra, CA – A Los Angeles sheriff’s deputy was shot at a Jack in the Box restaurant Monday night.

The incident happened at the Jack in the Box at Valley Boulevard and Fremont Avenue, according to ABC7.

No information has been released about what led up to the shooting.

ABC7 reports that the deputy was shot in the back of the head, and the gunman escaped.

The deputy was reportedly off-duty at the time, but officials have not said if he was in uniform at the time he was shot.

The deputy was transported to the hospital and the deputy’s condition has not been released.

A massive manhunt is underway for the gunman. No official suspect description has been released, but an image of the suspect’s white SUV has been distributed for people to look for.

Unconfirmed scanner traffic indicates the suspect may be a white or Hispanic male, late 20s to early 30s, 5’9″-5’11”, last seen wearing a grey fedora, black sunglasses, a short sleeve burgundy shirt, blue jeans, and grey shoes.
